Vine variety: Montepulciano D’Abruzzo

Sun exposure: South, south-west

Soil position: Hills of 100 metres a.s.l.

Vine growing system: Spurred cordon.

Soil type: Clayey medium texture (red clay), well exposed.

Period of grape harvest: first week of October.

Bottling: March of the year following the harvest, fining in bottle for two months.

Color: roseé “cerasa” (cherry like pink).

Smell: Intense, fruity, floral, and lightly herbaceous.

Flavour: warm, soft, fresh, sapid, with a great structure and balanced.

Food matching: : Vegetable soup, abruzzese style fettuccine, white meat (chicken, turkey, pork), fish soup and baked fish.

Alcohol volume: 14,50%.
